“글로벌 모바일콘텐츠 어워드를 통해 모바일콘텐츠 분야의 국제적 네트워크 형성은 물론 각 지역간의 활발한 정보교류가 펼쳐지는 장이 되기를 기원합니다.” 히토토라 히가시쿠니 일본 MCF(Mobile Content Forum) 의장이 글로벌 모바일콘텐츠 어워드(GMCA)의 성공적 개최를 기원하며 인사말을 보내왔다.
GMCA의 심사위원이기도 한 히가시쿠니 의장은 인사말을 통해 “‘유비쿼터스 사회’를 넘어선 ‘이동통신사회’에서 모바일기기는 단순한 의사소통의 도구만은 아니”라며 일상생활의 모든 분야에 접목된 “모바일콘텐츠의 역할과 중요성, 콘텐츠산업 시장은 급격히 확장될 것”이라고 전망했다.
“모바일콘텐츠산업 분야의 국제적 협력관계의 중요성을 끊임없이 역설해왔다”고 강조한 히가시쿠니 의장은 “GMCA가 국제적 네트워크 형성과 정보교류의 장으로 자리 잡기를 바라며 무궁한 성장과 성공을 기원한다”고 인사를 전했다.

글로벌 모바일콘텐츠 어워드 그 첫 개최를 축하 드립니다.
시간, 장소, 사람, 대상의 상호 간 접근의 제한이 없는 “Ubiquitous Society”(유비쿼터스 사회)를 뛰어넘는 “Mobilable Society”(이동통신사회)에서, 모바일기기는 단지 의사소통의 도구만은 아닐 것 입니다.
모바일은 이동통신 혁명을 이끌어나갈 필수불가결한 개인이동통신의 광대역 도구로서 인식되어집니다.
우리는 이미 휴대폰이 제공하는 음악, TV, 애니메이션, 영화 그리고 복합적인 GPS 시스템을 기반으로 한 네비게이션 기능을 갖춘 많은 서비스 및 기능들을 이용하고 있습니다. 또, 휴대폰은 통근패스, 열쇠, 신용카드, ID 카드, 가전제품을 원격 조정하는 기능 및 심지어 전자상표인식을 위한 혼합적 기능적 역할을 하고 있습니다.
이러한 상황 하에, 모바일 콘텐츠의 역할과 중요성 또 콘텐츠 산업의 시장은 급격히 확장될 것입니다.
일본의 MCF(Mobile Content Forum)는 수 년 전부터 회사의 모바일 프로젝트를 대상으로 ‘mobile platform’, ‘mobile solution’, ‘mobile hardware’와 ‘mobile content’ 로 구성된 Mobile Project Awards를 수여했습니다. 저는 모바일 시상식이 개최되는 국가간에 콘텐츠 산업분야의 국제적인 협력관계의 중요성을 끊임없이 지적하여 왔습니다.
이번 행사를 통해서 모바일 콘텐츠 분야와 관련 있는 기업들의 국제적인 네트워킹이 생겨나는 것뿐 아니라 각 지역간의 모바일 콘텐츠에 관한 정보교류가 활발히 이루어지기를 바랍니다.

I congratulate on the first Global Mobile Content Awards. In the coming “Mobilabe Society” beyond “Ubiquitous Society” with its freedom of ‘anytime’, ‘anywhere’, ‘anyone’, ‘anything’ interactive access, the mobile phone will not be a mere communication device. It is recognized the indispensable personal mobile broadband device which will be induced the mobilable revolution. Already we enjoy many services and functions in the mobile with media functions such as mobile music, mobile TV, mobile animation, mobile movie, and others that feature mobile complicated GPS-based navigation. The mobile also is assuming other roles as a commuter pass, key, credit card, ID card and the remote controller of home information appliances and even incorporating functions for reading electronic tags.
Under these situations, the importance and role of mobile content are increasing day by day and the market of mobile content industry will expand drastically. The Mobile Content Forum（MCF）in Japan has awarded the Mobile Project Awards consisted of ‘mobile platform’, ‘mobile solution’, ‘mobile hardware’ and ‘mobile content’ to the mobile project of the company from several years ago. I have mentioned continually the significance of international cooperative relationship in the content industries among nations and proposed the International Mobile Awards.
Using this occasion, I hope to deepen the international networking of companies in the field of mobile content and to promote exchanges of information on mobile content among regions. Best wishes on many more years of success and growth to the GMCA from all of us.
